FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere when I convert it?
No. Each page is rendered to an image locally in your browser using pdf.js. Your file is never uploaded to a server.
What resolution should I pick?
Low (1x) is good for quick previews, Medium (1.5x, the default) works well for general use, and High (2.5x) is best if you plan to print the images or zoom in closely.
Can I convert just one page instead of the whole PDF?
This tool converts every page in the PDF. If you only need certain pages, use the Split PDF tool first to pull out those pages, then convert the resulting file.
What do I download after converting?
If your PDF has just one page, you get a single JPG file. If it has more than one page, all the page images are packaged into a pdf-images.zip file for you to download.
