    Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere when I extract links?

No, it's entirely local. pdf.js reads the link annotations all inside your browser. Your file never leaves your device.

What counts as a link here?

Any clickable annotation in the PDF — an external web URL, an email mailto: link, or an internal link that jumps to another page within the same document.

What does an internal link show as?

It's labeled as a jump to a specific page number within the document, rather than a web address, since it doesn't have an external URL.

    Can I export the list?

Yes, use the "Download CSV" button to get the full list with page number, link type and target.
