    Frequently asked questions

Is my SVG uploaded anywhere when I convert it?

No. The SVG is rendered locally using the Canvas API in your browser. It never leaves your device.

Why would I need to convert SVG to JPG instead of PNG?

JPG files are typically smaller and are the expected format for many upload forms, print services and older tools that don't accept SVG or PNG.

What happens to transparent areas of my SVG?

JPG doesn't support transparency, so any transparent areas in the SVG are filled with white in the exported image.

Can I control the output size and quality?

Yes, set a width in pixels (height scales to match, or unlock the aspect ratio to set both independently) and use the quality slider to balance file size against sharpness.
