Is my image uploaded anywhere when I blur it?
No. The blur is applied locally in your browser using the Canvas API. It never leaves your device.
Why would I blur an image?
Blurring is commonly used to obscure a background, soften a photo, or blur sensitive details in a specific area. Note that this tool blurs the whole image uniformly, not just a selected region.
Does higher blur reduce file size?
Not necessarily — blurring doesn't compress the file. Use the Compress Image tool afterward if you also need a smaller file.
Can I blur just part of the image?
Not with this tool — it applies blur uniformly across the whole image.
