FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is my image uploaded anywhere when I add a border?
No. The border is drawn locally in your browser using the Canvas API. It never leaves your device.
Can I use any color for the border?
Yes. Use the color picker to choose any solid color, including white or black frames.
Does the border change the image's aspect ratio?
Yes slightly, since the canvas grows by twice the border width in each dimension.
Can I make an uneven border, thicker on one side?
Not with this tool — it applies the same width on all four sides. A photo-frame tool with mixed per-side widths could be a future addition.
