Is my photo uploaded anywhere when I use this tool?
No. Everything happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API. Your photo is never uploaded to Calcooo or any server.
Which document photo sizes are supported?
A preset dropdown covers passport (2 x 2 in / 51 x 51 mm), US visa (2 x 2 in), PAN card (25 x 35 mm), Aadhaar (35 x 45 mm), driving licence (35 x 45 mm), and a generic resume or ID photo (35 x 45 mm). Pick the preset matching your form's requirement, or double-check the exact requirement since some countries and forms vary.
How do I position my face correctly?
Drag the crop box over your face and shoulders, then use the corner handles to resize it. A live preview shows exactly what will be exported at the target dimensions.
Does this remove or change the background?
No, this tool only crops and resizes. For a plain white or colored background, use the Add Background to Image tool first if your original photo already has a plain or transparent background, or retake the photo against a plain wall for compliance.
